COVID-19 information for clients

COVID regulations have been relaxed nationally as more information has become available, however I continue to implement some of the recommendations for our mutual protection. I have been fully vaccinated and continue to screen any signs of infection with lateral flow tests. I use medical grade face masks when appropriate and wear a washable apron.

I have risk-assessed the clinic premises to comply with government regulations and aim to offer a covid safe environment.

My therapy room has been refurbished to provide as safe a working environment as possible for my clients. I have enclosed cabinets, all furniture and seating is wipeable material, and I have a screen to place between my stool and the head of my couch if required. Decorations are minimal, and leaflets are laminated. I have mop-able flooring.

My couch (and pillows if needed) are wipeable, and I will be using a fresh cotton cover for each client. I use the Hydrotherm cushion system on my couch, which is fully wipeable. I use anti-bacterial spray which has been developed to remove the risk of contamination.

I continue to ventilate my room in-between clients.

I continue to allow only one client to visit at a time in a pre-booked appointment. I continue to have a half an hour gap between clients to ventilate my room, and sanitise surfaces.

If you are a new client, I will email you a health and information form to complete prior to your visit.

I ask you to postpone your appointment if you have any symptoms that might be COVID related.

On the day of your appointment

Please come to the back door and knock.

You are no longer required to wear a mask inside the premises – I can provide surgical grade masks if you prefer to wear one however.

I provide sanitiser for your hands on entry to the building.

Please place your clothes in the box provided - you may if you prefer place your clothes on the wipeable chair, to avoid creasing in the box.

Please bring your own water in a plastic bottle should you wish to have a drink, as guidelines state I can no longer offer you one.

Payment can be made in advance by bank transfer, or by card on the day via contactless payment machine. If you prefer to bring cash, please place it in an envelope.

Surfaces, including bannisters and door handles will be sanitised between each appointment.

These procedures will be reviewed regularly when new guidelines are released, or if my professional bodies advise changes are necessary.
