LED Light Therapy

“Hold your face up to the light”

Bill wilson

LED light therapy is used to stimulate the skin's natural rejuvenation and repair processes without discomfort or downtime. It has 6 different wavelengths of light to treat a wide range of skin concerns.

The Cube Light is an LED device for light emitting diode therapy. It has 6 different wavelengths of light to treat different skin disorders and can be used for face, scalp and body treatments by adjusting the head flap.

LED light therapy is based on the principle that skin uses light as a source of energy to stimulate natural cellular responses.

Each wavelength of the visible light spectrum corresponds to different colours which penetrate the skin at different depths. Depending on how deeply the wavelengths penetrate, they cause different biological reactions:

RED light penetrates deep into the epidermis to promote collagen and elastin synthesis and so help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Red LED light is thought to improve blood circulation and help with the penetration of active ingredients.

BLUE light is antibacterial. It reduces activity in the sebaceous glands and targets the bacteria responsible for acne. It can also calm sensitive, problematic skin.

GREEN light has a calming effect and can help lighten age spots, sun damage and hyperpigmentation for a brighter, more even complexion.

YELLOW light is used to relieve rosacea, flushed skin and redness. It can also help to reduce melanin production.

PURPLE light help to heal and repair the skin, brightens and treats acne.

ORANGE light boosts blood circulation to the skin, oxygenation and lymphatic drainage improving overall health and skin quality.

The Visage canopy has no direct contact with the skin and can easily be positioned over the face, scalp, or limbs.

LED light therapy is excellent for treating the following:

  1. Acne and blemish prone skin
  2. Signs of ageing
  3. Pigmentation, age spots and uneven skin tone
  4. Redness and Rosacea
  5. Eczema, Psoriasis and Dermatitis
  6. Inflammatory skin conditions
  7. Wound healing and pain relief
  8. Post treatment redness, inflammation and swelling
  9. Thinning hair

LUMIXA Fluorescent Light Energy treatment

Lumixa is a topical photoconverter gel that is applied to the skin then activated under a professional LED light to produce Fluorescent Light Energy (FLE) which generates multiple hyper-pulsed wavelengths benefiting both the epidermis and dermis. Treatments with Lumixa stimulate fibroblasts to increase collagen, target the intrinsic signs of ageing and reactivate the skin matrix.

Why Lumixa over standard LED?
A stand-alone LED treatment provides amazing benefits, however Lumixa generates a wide-spectrum of wavelengths, which ‘supercharges’ the benefits of a standard LED treatment by up to 7 times in a single 15 minute treatment. Fast and comfortable with little to no downtime,  Lumixa FLE treatments will help repair, regenerate and energise skin.
