Welcome to my website. This page tells you about me and the services I offer, namely aromatherapy, hypnotherapy, reflexology, acupuncture and advanced skincare treatments. I have a special interest in skincare and offer bespoke facial experiences to suit your needs. I can combine treatments to optimise the results - hence the name “Fusion Therapies”.
About me:- I started my career journey as a Registered Nurse and then as a Midwife. In 2007 I decided to follow my life-long interest by completing a Diploma in Clinical Aromatherapy with the world renowned Penny Price Academy www.penny-price.com.
As my aromatherapy facials have always been popular with clients (and as a nurse I had extensive experience with skin conditions and wound care), I decided to add to this with courses in beauty therapy and then advanced skincare techniques - all of which provide clients with a sense of wellbeing. My range now includes hydro-facial, diamond microdermabrasion, chemical peels, micro-needling, radiofrequency and electroporation, Dr Platon cold plasma treatment, microcurrent, galvanics, cryotherapy, LED, cryo-lift, carboxytherapy facial, "chopstick" facial and "red carpet" facials - result driven treatments that enhance the appearance and condition of the skin. I am also qualified in cryotherapy, and can remove skin tags, verrucae, warts, cherry angiomas, "age" spots etc... Cryotherapy – skin tag removal etc
In 2008, I was introduced to Hypnotherapy when I observed a psychiatrist colleague using it with a patient. I was fascinated, and after questioning him at length, was persuaded to look into suitably accredited courses. I gained a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy a year later, and have continued to train in additional psychotherapeutic techniques. I am also qualified in EFT, and Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture amongst other subjects. In 2018, I qualified as a "Parks Inner Child Therapist".
I found that the more I studied, the more I came across other therapies and ideas - subsequently, I trained in Clinical Acupuncture with the KORE Academy of Clinical Acupuncture
I am passionate about my therapy work and continue to update my knowledge on an ongoing basis, providing me with "Lifetime Learning".
In addition to advanced facials and Eve Taylor Aromatherapy facials, I offer my clients bespoke treatments that combine the therapeutic properties of essential oils, massage, acupuncture and hypnotherapy - with the added treat of “pampering”, to leave you relaxed, refreshed and with a sense of wellbeing.
I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate, and you can be assured that your personal information, together with anything that you disclose to me will remain confidential. I am a member of a number of professional organisations, and insured with Insync Insurance.
I live in rural South Derbyshire with my husband, and am blessed with two lovely (now adult) daughters. In my spare time, I am a leader with Girl Guiding, and currently run 3 units of girls. I also volunteer with a Mental Health charity in Herefordshire that provides therapeutic contact with (very friendly) goats, and other small animals.

Private, warm therapy rooms in a quiet, secure setting in the village of Overseal in South Derbyshire. Parking available.
I as a practitioner, and my premises have been inspected and approved by South Derbyshire District Council. I am fully licensed to provide the therapies I offer.
Please note that our therapy rooms are on the first floor of the previous surgery building, and the building does not have a lift. I will endeavor to offer suitable treatments in the home, to clients who are not able to climb the stairs. Alternatively, I am happy to refer to other therapists who do not have this issue.
