Enjoy a relaxing, aromatic aromatherapy massage, or chose to be pampered with a hot stone massage using essential oils. Indulge yourself with a massage and facial treatment. Try Chinese cupping for back pain. The choice is yours. Aromatherapy oils can be used with all of the treatments I offer. I will mix the oil blends for you based on your health needs, and/or preference- eg I will chose oils with anti-inflammatory properties for aches and pains, or oils which are know to be beneficial for relaxation etc. You can also enjoy an aromatherapy massage to relax your body before having hypnotherapy or acupuncture, which will enhance the relaxation effects. I can also add bespoke blends to aromatherapy base products ranging from skin care to hair products. My essential oils are of the highest quality from reputable suppliers like Quinessence Aromatherapy, Penny Price Aromatherapy, and Neal’s Yard Remedies.
Back, neck, shoulder and scalp massage
Designed to target the areas most prone to stress and tension. Ideal if you spend a lot of time at a desk, or suffer with pain or tension in the back, neck or shoulder areas – or just want a de-stressing treatment. Using essential oils chosen specifically for their therapeutic effects, and aromas. This is an ideal "maintenance" treatment if you regularly have a painful back, neck and shoulders. If you chose, this can also be followed by acupuncture for shoulder or back pain and infra red heat lamp, if you are suffering from chronic pain.
Full body massage
A soothing, relaxing aromatherapy treatment using your favourite essential oils to melt away tension, relax the body and improve circulation to leave your skin soft and fragrant. I will mix your favourite oils - or let me chose for you from over 70 different essential oils......
Full body massage with facial massage
Full body massage is followed by scalp and facial massage (including acupressure points) with a rose oil blend suitable for use on the face. Facial massage improves the circulation to the skin, which encourages cell regeneration and production of sebum – resulting in increased suppleness and softness. A very relaxing experience.
I have training in advanced facials, and a number of aesthetic techniques. For details of other facial treatments please see under separate heading. My aromatherapy facials are done using the lovely Neal’s Yard Remedies face products. The stages of the facials include cleansing, deep cleansing, exfoliation, facial massage, mask, toner and moisturiser using the NYR range best suited to your skin type. Massage/oil drench/infrared and heat treatment
Suitable for back and/or joint problems. A combination of massage and acupressure techniques, intensive essential oil drench in carrier cream applied to the area, cling film wrap applied, and infrared lamp to aid healing. Alternatively electric heated pads are wrapped around the joint. While you relax and allow the oils to absorb, I gently massage your scalp. Following the treatment, any remaining cream is massaged into the skin.
Hot stone massage
An aromatherapy massage using volcanic stones that retain heat and are wonderful tools to massage the back and body. Known as “thermotherapy”, this massage technique is one of several practised by traditional Hawaiian healers. As the warmth from the stones penetrates the skin, circulation is increased and muscular tension reduced. This leaves you feeling comforted, soothed and grounded. The warm stones are used as massage tools with a bespoke blend of essential oils.

Chinese cupping treatment
Dry cupping techniques are used to stimulate the body’s healing processes, and is is a treatment favoured by many Hollywood stars eg Gwyneth Paltrow. I use both traditional fire cupping techniques and also the modern pump suction cups. This is followed by application of aromatherapy essential oil blend to the back, and the cups are re-applied over the oil – moving the suction cups over the back muscles creates a deep tissue massage which is very good for back pain and tension.
